Once you have your 20 entry pts, you have
to submit a profile. It helps other
writers to get you IC.
1. Design your character. Characters
have to have a different name from your
author name. Your character can be very
similiar to yourself or very different.
2. Create a background story for your
character. You character has to fit into
the Fated world, so you should have a place they
were born...what they do for
a living, any "family" they have...etc.
3. Choose a weapon. Your character
will specialize in this weapon. Any pre-existing
weapon in the Fated world is fair game. You
can see about desiging your own weapon
after you gain some pts.
4. Choose your materia. Your
weapon will start with three slots and you get three
materia included at no charge. You may only
chose 1 summons materia, or you
may chose to pass on the summons to get another spell or command
materia.
5. Choose your
alignment.
All characters in FF:Fated are aligned with one
of four groups (whether they
know it or not is another matter). You will also be "fighting" to
see this group
come out on
top.
The groups are:
1. The Planet
2. Jenova
3. The Other
4. ShinRa
~Writers that want to work for the same group are
advised to form teams, but it is
completely their choice weither or not to.
~Writers that feel there is other groups should ask
first, as the character
may
have been placed with a group already.
6. Quotes: These are usually two
things to show how your character talks, i.e. do they have an
accent, do they use street talk or "big
words"?
7. Contribute to the P.T.B.
List.
Please come up with a
couple things that would warrent adding points (and how many),
losing points and a bonus or
two.
Misc: Yes, you can receive pts for
references within your own profile. But the reference
rule applies (two or more people must
catch them before they will gain you points).
The limit on reference pts gained from profiles is
15 pts.
