Nightmare Fighter Yumeko Rules

UPDATED 2/22/02!

Nightmare Fighter Yumeko authors have two weeks to write their chapters instead of the usual one. Extensions will only be given under very special circumstances, or as a result of a Plot Approval event (described below).

In other words: I intend to be strict about these deadlines. However, if you have to change what you've written, I'll give you extra time (since it's only fair).

Nightmare Fighter Yumeko operates under Plot Acceptance rules. This means that, if it's your turn to write a chapter, I want to be notified of all the plot developments in your part. In extreme cases, I may ask you to change or leave out some of your ideas. More frequently what happens is that I discuss with authors various story ideas through email before they begin writing.

The most convenient way to get a chapter written is for you (the author) to send me a summary of your ideas before you start writing. A summary will also help you organize your thoughts and will be generally useful. However, you do not have to send in a particular summary. Consulting with me by email and sending preliminary drafts is also encouraged.

Whatever method you use, you must send a preliminary outline, draft, plot plan or something along those lines within one week of being assigned the chapter. This is to encourage not leaving all the work until the last week. Of course, if you'd like to keep me informed in a more informal way, such as consultations every couple of days, that's fine as well. I would just like to make sure you don't let things slide.

Some things to consider.
