Physical Appearance:
Loki is thin and wiry, and looks like just about anyone could wipe the floor with him. He has blonde hair which falls messily just above his eyes, which have no fixed color; they constantly shift according to his mood. He has the tatoo of a teardrop under his right eye.

Loki wears a black skintight shirt, and a blue SOLDIER shirt overtop (like Cloud's), and a shoulder pad on his right shoulder. He wears an odd-looking wristwatch on his left hand. He wears baggy, light gray pants, and combat boots.

Limit Breaks
style: Mech summon - Loki was given control of a set of experimental combat mechs, controlled by an odd watch-like device with a radio communicator. He shouts his attacks through it.

Level 1: Lightning Satan
1: "Lightning Satan, go!"

Loki calls forth Lightning Satan, a mech of such ridiculous design, that it causes the entire enemy team to fall over laughing for three turns. For this attack, he won't actually do anything but stand there looking stupid. It has a random chance of stupifying Loki's team mates, as well. :)

Background story:
Loki is, as far as he knows, the son of Hojo and Lucrecia, and was raised by his father, since his mother passed away long ago. Hojo was always apart though, treating Loki to stony silence, usually just watching him from behind his desk, staring emotionlessly at him with his hands covering his mouth. Loki ran away when he was eight, but returned three years later when his father told him that he wanted him back.

What Hojo wanted him back for, of course, was to conduct experiments on. Hojo had developed a bunch of new toys, but everyone knew well enough by now to keep away from anything his hands had touched. Loki is a desperately needful child, and even the slightest shred of appreciation and thanks from his father is enough to help him with whatever he wants. Even if it is field testing highly unstable materia-linked guns and rifles.

Loki has been an operative for Shinra special weapons division for three years, and has undergone some Mako therapy to better handle the weaponry he's given. He sometimes wonders if it's right to wantonly destroy lots of stuff, but he does secretly get a kick out of making things go boom.

Loki was also given a 'present' from Hojo once, which was a watch communicator. By activating the watch, radio antennae sprout out, and he can send verbal commands to any of the mechs he's been requistioned. This is the only gift ever given to him by Hojo, and he treasures it more than anything.

Loki is desperately in need of attention after his neglected childhood,and currently clinging to every little scrap that Hojo gives him. He knows it's false, but it's all he can get, it seems. Any person who gives him the slightest bit of attention, let alone indicating friendship, will gain his trust for life - even if they're on the other side. This basically means that he constantly shifts his alignments, to whomever is giving him the most attention at the moment.

Loki is a soft-spoken, gentle soul. Until he's given his latest weapon and told to try it out on the nearest mountain range. He has a lot of inner anger, and collateral damage is usually the result. He doesn't let it show in other situations, because he already has a hard enough time being luved.

Loki is a fence-sitter on issues, and never completely sure where he stands. His opinion will probably change on a subject half an hour after making an impassioned speech about it- or as impassioned as he can be. Loki has two voices which occasionally speak to him, which manifest as an angel and a devil.

Loki has one thing that he truly likes, but doesn't let anyone in Shinra know - he's a rabid follower of the underground musical group 'The Wu-Tai Clan', a group of musicians who grew up on the hard streets of Midgar, after being forced out of their old homes in Wutai during the wars. Loki has every single one of their albums, and listens to their anguished songs about the tough life on the streets, to 'cheer himself up.' This is his one conceit against Shinra, it being highly illegal to own this music, of course.

The truth:
Loki is not actually Hojo's son; he's the secret love child of Scarlett and Heidegger. The two paid Hojo to take the child, because it was a one-time thing that they didn't want anyone to know about. Hojo has used his knowledge of the pair's relationship as a bargaining point to have freedom to move about as he pleases. (how else could a psycho like him wander around so freely without being heavily guarded/monitored?)

Lightning Satan was actually designed by these two; they have three other mech designs also rejected by Shinra, which are waiting for him to be 'good enough to use'.
